At the same time the Bush administration was negotiating a still elusive agreement to keep the U.S. military in Iraq, Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama tried to convince Iraqi leaders in private conversations that the president shouldn’t be allowed to enact the deal without congressional approval.
There are three pages to this story, however, Barack Obama, as a United States Senator, does not have the authority to negotiate on behalf of the United States.

Oh Christ, this old story again? That was debunked by participants in the meeting weeks ago.
The McCain campaign looks so pathetic and desperate I simply can’t believe it.

Correction, that story was brought up by participants in the meeting. Namely, the Iraqi foriegn minister.

The answer is in the question. It begins and ends with the word “right” which has a double meaning and in this case, both meanings apply.

Even if Obama committed murder in broad daylight with 200 witnesses, there are many who would say that a ‘double’ did it. The fact is that he is largely unknown, untested, and woefully inexperienced. His policies and platforms are socialist and amoral, and will hurt us even more. America is like a patient in need of dire medical surgery, we do not an intern in the operating room.

This is a quote from the Obama campaign in the article you linked to:
“In fact, Obama had told the Iraqis that they should not rush through a “Strategic Framework Agreement” governing the future of US forces until after President George W. Bush leaves office, she said.”
In other words, they admited to it while they were denying it. We’ve been through this. Also, that article does not “debunk” anything.
