The one thing that I want to insist on is that, as I travel around the country, the American people are a decent people. Now they get confused sometimes. You know, they listen to the wrong talk radio shows or watch the wrong TV networks, um, but they’re, they’re basically decent, they’re basically sound. - Barack Hussein Obama
What talk radio shows and television shows would that be, Obama? The ones that tell us the truth? The ones that expose your fraudulent, and almost non-existent, Senate voting record? The ones that expose your past and current friends? The ones that clearly spell out your diabolical Marxist plans for America?
Are these the same talk radio shows and television shows you and your liberal ilk target with the “Fairness Doctrine”? This doctrine is wholly fascist, yet you agree with it. Why? Are Americans not smart enough to think for ourselves and decide what we want to see, read, and hear?
What else are Americans confused about? Are we confused about what to eat? What we want to study? Who we want to love?
Obama, what are you proposing? Do you want to control our lives and suppress our freedom to choose what is best for ourselves? Why do you want to create a government that oversees our entire lifetime, from the cradle to the grave, in the guise of equality?
Obama, all you do is bitch and complain. Obama, your contempt for Americans seeps through the pores of your body, and your mouth spews with belches of empty rhetoric of a supposedly great and brighter future, only if there is more government oversight. However, Scoop This exists in direct confrontation for the faux utopia you seek to create! The same is true and steadfast for all other conservative websites and conservative grassroots movements. And we are exposing your extremism, Obama.
Obama, the only choice you care about is that of a pro-death, pro-abortion liberal mantra. All other choice is obsolete.

While it’s obvious that both parties were implicit and possibly even riding the benefits of BILL CLINTON’s repeal of the Glass-Steagle Act in 1999, why is it that you think blaming the side that’s been out of power for the past two years makes the current party in control’s inaction permissable?
I thought the Democrat Congress said they were going to clean up the corruption in Washington but I guess those big campaign contributions from those companies made them as corrupt as any other.

You completely misunderstood the point, and have no foundation upon which to feign educating me, or redirecting my intentions into that debate black hole that we were talking about a few days ago. Let’s break it down.
Party B claims that a specific action is the fault of Party A. Party B was also involved. This does not mean that Parties A and B were guilty of a similar action, it means that they are both to blame for the exact same transgression. Of course, the entire point was to tell you guys to grow up and stop blaming The Other Guys for our collective problems when all of the politicians are blameworthy, yet you defend their inaction as well by trying to play a shell game with my comments.

Murph, part of me agrees with you. As a capitalist, these businesses should be allowed to fail. They ran themselves into the ground. However, I do not believe middle and lower management employees should suffer the sins of the corporate board, so the U.S. government will “save” and bail out the company, thus keeping the jobs of the “little” guys.
It is Socialism-lite, but the GOP and the Dems would both use the Federal Bank to bail these companies out.

McCain’s War Street Bankers
Earlier today, I wrote about McCain’s harebrained idea to appoint a commission to go after the crooks on Wall Street. McCain is, of course, just rolling out a flimsy parade float constructed of toilet paper, something that will disappear on the day after the election, provided he wins or the Diebold machines come up in his favor. He will say and do anything to get selected.
As it turns out, McCain receives big time support from the very people he promises to clean out of the nooks and crannies of War Street. It didn’t take long for the hypocrites over on the Dem side of the Banker Party to dig up some damage.
“Several of McCain’s most senior campaign aides have lobbied for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. And the Democratic National Committee, using publicly available records, has identified 177 lobbyists working for the McCain campaign as either aides, policy advisers, or fundraisers,” write David Corn, Jonathan Stein, and Nick Baumann for Mother Jones.
Of those 177 lobbyists, according to a Mother Jones review of Senate and House records, at least 83 have in recent years lobbied for the financial industry McCain now attacks. These are high-paid influence-peddlers who have been working the corridors of the nation’s capital to win favors and special treatment for investment banks, securities firms, hedge funds, accounting outfits, and insurance companies. Their clients have included AIG, the newest symbol of corporate excess; Lehman Brothers, which filed for bankruptcy on Monday sending the stock market into a tailspin; Merrill Lynch, which was bought out by Bank of America this week; and Washington Mutual, the banking giant that could be the next to fall. Among these 83 lobbyists are McCain’s chief political adviser, Charlie Black (JP Morgan, Washington Mutual Bank, Freddie Mac, Mortgage Bankers Association of America); McCain’s national finance co-chairman, Wayne Berman (AIG, Blackstone, Credit Suisse, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac); the campaign’s congressional liaison, John Green (Carlyle Group, Citigroup, Icahn Associates, Fannie Mae); McCain’s veep vetter, Arthur Culvahouse (Fannie Mae); and McCain’s transition planning chief, William Timmons Sr. (Citigroup, Freddie Mac, Vanguard Group).
As usual, the Dems stink to high heaven. It’s kinda ironic they’d release this dirt on McPalin when Obama is a banker magnet extraordinarie.
“Lehman Brothers, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan Chase & Co., UBS and heavyweight law firm DLA Piper are among Obama’s top contributors,” reports the Phoenix Business Journal. “At least 100 Obama bundlers are top executives or brokers from investment businesses: nearly two dozen work for financial titans like Lehman Brothers, Goldman Sachs or Citigroup,” the adds the New York Times.
Funny thing is, it doesn’t matter, because no matter who wins the bankers will own the country lock, stock, and barrel.
Not since the days of Andrew Jackson has a president seriously gone after the bankers. “You are a den of vipers. I intend to rout you out and by the Eternal God I will rout you out. If the people only understood the rank injustice of our money and banking system, there would be a revolution before morning,” Jackson told investment bankers in 1828 as they pestered him to renew their central bank charter.
Founders such as Thomas Jefferson and James Madison opposed the First Bank of the United States, modeled after the Bank of England, and saw it for what it was — an engine for speculation, financial manipulation, and corruption.
Less than a hundred years later, we had the “currency panic” of 1907, and then the Federal Reserve System as a solution. It is currently owned by the Rothschild Bank of London and Berlin, the Warburg Bank of Hamburg, the Lehman Brothers of New York, Goldman, Sachs of New York, the Chase Manhattan Bank of New York, and others, most throwing money after McObama.
It really does not take a clairvoyant to realize the bankers own not only McCain and Obama, but us too.

1. First, the issue of racism:
Just off the top of my head, Democrats in congress voted 60% in favor of the civil rights act of 1964. Republicans voted 80% In favor. But which party gets credit?
2. Race Conciousness (same as racism):
Which party supports race-based admissions and affirmative actions, both programs discriminate against people based on race as well as lower the expectations of persons of differen’t races? Whose supporters keep dismissing those against Barak Obama as “racist.” Which party’s pundits keep bringing up the issure of race as a “merit” for Barak Obama?
What was the political persuation of all those journalists who kept saying McCain should pick “Condeleeza Rice” as his running mate citing among her highest qualifications not merit but the fact that she “is black.”
3. Eugenics:
From the founder of Planned Parenthood, Margaret Sanger:
“A stern and rigid policy of sterilization and segregation to that grade of population whose progeny is already tainted or whose inheritance is such that objectionable traits may be transmitted to offspring.”
Or how bout:

Incidentally, Byrd *was* a member of the KKK (like Duke, who is a former Grand Wizard), and is not “proud”: “[joining the KKK] was the greatest mistake I ever made.” You have enough ammo in his having been in the KKK at all, you don’t have to add the drama to it.
All of that said, I find him despicable and he shouldn’t be in office, just like Helms shouldn’t have been.
