Reverend Joseph Lowery’s prayer.

Posted by Carlos C. on Tuesday, January 20th, 2009 at 12:23 pm

Rush Limbaugh talked about this prayer and it is now posted on Drudge Report:

Benediction at Obama ’s inauguration, Rev. Joseph Lowery:

‘Lord, in the memory of all the saints who from their labors rest, and in the joy of a new beginning, we ask you to help us work for that day when black will not be asked to get in back, when brown can stick around… when yellow will be mellow, when the red man can get ahead, man; and when white will embrace what is right. That all those who do justice and love mercy say Amen. Say Amen’…

I thought racism was finally conquered today?

UPDATE 1: Hot Air has the video

I would like to add, “Green is mean.”

Ha!

UPDATE 2: Michelle Malkin says that Reverend Lowery’s poem is part of a song. The text of the song is on Malkin’s website.

This keeps getting weirder.

Bill Cosby takes a shot at Sean Hannity.

Posted by Carlos C. on Sunday, January 11th, 2009 at 11:44 am

Politico.com

Bill Cosby, the entertainer-turned-activist known for his controversial comments on race, told Washington’s WTOP radio station Saturday that Barack and Michelle Obama were examples of the parenting and family values he’s challenged black America to strengthen.

“Who is Barack Obama and what did he tell us, when he talked about his mother? What was it he was saying when he said his mother woke up, 4:30 in the morning…to correct his homework, to get it done?” Cosby asked rhetorically. “Let’s listen to Michelle Obama who talks about her father with a disease, but he doesn’t call in work and say, let me call in later. He gets up an hour earlier.”

“There are statements made which tell us, you know, that people make it because they try,” Cosby said.

Cosby brushed back the criticism that his past comments about African-Americans could be taken out of context by critics of the black community – taking a crack at Fox News commentator Sean Hannity in the process.

“I’m not worried about white people. Hannity – I’m not worried what he says, ” Cosby said. “I’m not worried about any racist people who are going to bring it up.”

Why does Bill Cosby compare Sean Hannity to white racists? I think that Hannity has backed Bill Cosby’s supposed controversial comments that parents are responsible for the family values they teach to their kids.

“How many Americans in media really take him seriously, or do they look at him like some prize brown baby?” he asked.

Yeah, who is tossing around racist comments now?

Go get me a jello pudding pop, Bill.

Prince Harry caught on tape making racist remarks.

Posted by Carlos C. on Saturday, January 10th, 2009 at 11:45 pm

breitbart.tv

Fuck me. You look like raghead.

News of the World

ROYAL rebel Prince Harry today stands accused of racism in a bombshell home video as he swaggers in front of his army comrades.

The soldier prince pours shame on the Royal Family as he calls an Asian squaddie “our little Paki friend” and tells another officer cadet jokingly wearing a camouflage veil off duty: “F*** me, you look like a raghead”—an offensive term for an Arab.

Harry, 24, third in line to the throne, also mocks the Queen—who is Commander-in-Chief of the British Army—while acting out a mobile phone call to her in front of other cadets at a field camp in Cyprus.

They laugh out loud as the disrespectful Prince pretends to get bored talking to his grandmother and dismissively hangs up on her saying: “Send my love to the corgis. I’ve got to go, got to go, bye. God Save You . . . yeah, that’s great.”

He even jokes about the color of his pubic hair with one soldier in the middle of giving orders.

Last night Clarence House issued an APOLOGY for his behaviour in the shocking video diary—in which Harry is often behind the camera giving a foul-mouthed commentary.

And the Ministry of Defence said last night: “This sort of language is not acceptable in a modern army.”

His sick remarks will not only have infuriated the Queen but could also increase tensions with Islamic groups in the UK who were outraged that he went to fight and kill Muslims in Afghanistan.

And they will mortify Army chiefs trying to recruit soldiers from Britian’s ethnic minorities.

The film was made in 2006, just a year after Harry was shamed for wearing a Nazi swastika at a fancy dress party and forced to make a grovelling apology.

Honestly, I think Prince Harry got caught in the moment, as any other young man with a camera, and did not think his exploits would become public.

UPDATE 1: I just watched the video. Funny stuff.

Give them hell, Harry!

I am sure all the ladies in London want your “ginger pubes”.

Just stop wearing damn swastikas.

UPDATE 2: This video was filmed three years ago. Gateway Pundit reports that “Paki” is a nickname for Harry’s fellow soldier. The nickname was used by all of Harry’s fellow soldiers for Ahmed. All of the soldiers, including Harry, have nicknames.

“Toyotas are rice ready.”

Posted by Carlos C. on Thursday, December 11th, 2008 at 7:06 pm

SAVANNAH, Ga. – A Ford dealer angered over the proposed bailout of U.S. automakers blames the nation’s sour economy on Congress and criticized buyers of Japanese cars, calling the vehicles “rice ready … not road ready” in a radio ad.

O.C. Welch, who owns a dealership near Savannah in Hardeeville, S.C., began airing the minute-long ad on a dozen stations in the area over the weekend. The ad sounds more like a talk-radio tirade than a sales pitch.

“All you people that buy all your Toyotas and send that money to Japan, you know, when you don’t have a job to make your Toyota car payment, don’t come crying to me,” Welch says in the ad. “All those cars are rice ready. They’re not road ready.”

Floyd Mori, executive director of the Japanese American Citizens League, said Welch’s remarks evoke anti-Asian sentiments often aimed at Japanese and Chinese immigrants to the U.S. from the 1930s through World War II. He also noted many Japanese automakers’ cars are manufactured in America.

“It’s a blatant, ignorant, racist remark from somebody who should know better,” Mori said.

Toyota spokesman Xavier Dominicis said the company’s cars consistently receive high marks for quality. The automaker employs 36,600 Americans, he said, and about 60 percent of Toyota vehicles sold in the U.S. were manufactured here.

“How do you tell a worker in Kentucky who’s producing a Toyota that his job is worth less than another American autoworker’s?” Dominicis said.

The car dealer, though, said Tuesday he had received more positive calls than negative ones. His dealership sold 15 new cars Saturday — half of them to people drawn to the lot by the ad, he said.

Welch said he’s mostly mad at politicians, blasting them in his ad as only being good for “slinging mud and spending our tax dollars.” He said the government should offer tax incentives for consumers to buy new cars rather than spend money bailing out Ford, General Motors and Chrysler.

Nice!

I know it is wrong that I cannot stop laughing, but as someone who used to sell cars, you go with what works.

SHOCK: Calling Barack Obama a “House Negro” is offensive.

Posted by Carlos C. on Friday, November 21st, 2008 at 10:04 am

Just ask Reverend Al Sharpton.

However, calling Colin Powell and Condoleeza Rice “house negroes” is totally acceptable.

Again, just ask Reverend Al Sharpton!

“Rev. Al Sharpton, Do you believe that political leaders such as Condoleezza Rice and Colin Powell are viewed as “house negroes” by other African Americans, by going along with the President against their beliefs?”

The pot called the kettle black, too.

The pot forgot that it is a leafy green.

First Colored President.

Posted by Carlos C. on Wednesday, November 12th, 2008 at 7:24 am

Fox News.com

Just call her Lindsay Bunker.

Lindsay Lohan used a derogatory term for African Americans most commonly used by racist character Archie Bunker in the 1970s sitcom “All In the Family.”

“It’s an amazing feeling. It’s our first, you know, colored president,” the 22-year-old actress said in response to a question from Maria Menounos on “Access Hollywood” about her reaction to Obama’s win in the 2008 presidential race.

The oft-troubled starlet muttered the offensive term in the midst of an interview about her role on “Ugly Betty,” gay marriage, and cancer research.

The television interview comes on the heels of a sit-dwon with “Harper’s Bazaar” magazine where Lohan denied being a lesbian, but admitted to being in love with her female partner of several months, Samantha Ronson.

Nice.

That’s what happens when your blood-alcohol content is a constant .55 dry martini.

Check out the video. Just watch the first 20 seconds. Access Hollywood silently bleeped the word “colored”.

UPDATE 1:

22-second clip.

And the post-racial healing era begins…

Posted by Carlos C. on Saturday, November 8th, 2008 at 3:16 am

…by a Black woman bitch-slapping a White cop!

Yeah!

Chicago Breaking News

At least five people were arrested across the city after Barack Obama’s rally in Grant Park, including a woman who slapped a Chicago police officer, saying police couldn’t arrest her anymore, prosecutors said today.

Most of the others celebrated the historic occasion with gunfire.

Celita Hart, 19, stood silently in court today when she appeared for a bond hearing.

Prosecutors said Hart, who is black, yelled ” ‘White fuck, fuck McCain–you white police can’t do nothing anymore.’” With that, she reached through the window of a squad car and slapped a white male officer in the face, according to Assistant State’s Atty. Lorraine Scaduto.

The incident occurred after police responded to a crowd of people celebrating Obama’s win on the corner of 69th Street and Western Avenue. Hart, of the 7100 block of South Rockwell Street, was charged with aggravated battery of a police officer and was ordered her held in lieu of $10,000 bail.

Others who appeared before Circuit Judge Israel Desierto included Andre Murph, 37, of Aurora, who was arrested after police saw him shooting a handgun into the ground on the Southwest Side.

Scaduto said he told the officers he was “shooting to celebrate Obama as president.”

Narada Thomas, 23, of the 1200 North Central Avenue, allegedly gave a similar explanation after he was arrested with a handgun near his home. “He said he had the gun because he wanted to celebrate Obama becoming the first black president,” Scaduto said.

Kenneth Smith, 24, of the 6700 block of South Ada Street, was arrested after he allegedly fired a handgun outside his home. Smith, who is on parole for a previous weapons conviction, told authorities that “the police only arrested him because a black man won for president,” Scaduto said.

Robert Morgan, 54, of the 5700 South Lowe Avenue, appeared to have simply been caught up in the excitement.

When officers arrested him for allegedly firing a handgun into the air from his back porch, “He told the officers, ‘Everyone else is shooting off their guns–I figured, why not?’” Scaduto said.

They fired their weapons in celebration?

They must be Muslims.

“Assimilist” is the new racist.

Posted by Carlos C. on Monday, November 3rd, 2008 at 7:00 pm

Michelle Malkin received hate mail today from a woman named Sheila McCray.

McCray writes:

My sympathies. I did some research, and you are exactly what I thought - an assimilist with no knowledge of themselves. What a hater! You attract minions of jealous non-thinkers. Thank you for making me proud to have voted for Obama.

Well, “assimilist” is not a word, though McCray is trying to create a new word from the root word “assimilate”.

Get ready, folks. No matter what happens tomorrow, the race card will be played at an all-time high.

New ACORN ad: “John McCain is a racist!”

Posted by Carlos C. on Wednesday, October 29th, 2008 at 7:26 pm

Pure desperation.

God forbid that all of the people that vote in the 2008 Presidential Election are legal residents, who are still living, and have an appropriate address and identification card.

But no, requiring any of those requirements is racist, according to the idiots at ACORN.

Nice touch by adding the guitar strumming the old Negro spiritual, “Amazing Grace”.

Scoop This will not let ACORN get away with this crap. Not this time.

Racial slur printed on store receipt.

Posted by Carlos C. on Thursday, October 23rd, 2008 at 3:12 pm

KMBC.com

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A Kansas City man found a racial slur printed on his receipt after returning a pair of shoes he bought over the weekend.

KMBC’s Marcus Moore reported that Keith Slater, 22, bought a pair of shoes from a store called Journeys. Slater later returned them after finding a cheaper pair at another store. Slater did get his money back, but it was what was printed on the receipt that he and his family found disturbing.

The receipt, which shows “Cust: Dumb” and then the n-word, is what Slater received after returning a pair of shoes to Journeys at Oak Park Mall.

“When he showed me that receipt, I could not believe it,” said Slater’s mother, Linda. “He couldn’t believe it. I couldn’t believe it. None of us got any sleep just thinking about it.”

Well, I did not post the entire article, but the owner of Journeys fired the employee and issued an apology. A “community activist” named Alonzo Washington is calling for a boycott of the store, which is the right thing to do. There is no reason to insult customers. Also, the case was referred to the Federal Bureau of Investigations due to a possible civil rights violation.

Has anyone ever had an inappropriate comment printed on a receipt? This is the first time I have heard of this happening.
