Why is Mahmoud Ahmadinejad delivering a Christmas message when converts to Christianity in Iran face the death penalty?

Times Online

Jewish groups were up in arms today when it was revealed that Channel 4’s “alternative” Christmas Day broadcast is to be delivered by President Ahmadinejad of Iran.

Mr Ahmadinejad’s speech will go out at 7.15pm, four hours after the Queen’s traditional Christmas Day message is broadcast on the main channels. His message is a spiritual one but includes some more nakedly political elements - including the implicit claim that if Jesus Christ were alive today, he would oppose US hegemony.

“If Christ was on Earth today undoubtedly he would stand with the people in opposition to bullying, ill-tempered and expansionist powers,” Mr Ahmadinejad will say in a speech to be shown in Farsi with English subtitles.

“If Christ was on Earth today undoubtedly he would hoist the banner of justice and love for humanity to oppose warmongers, occupiers, terrorists and bullies the world over. If Christ was on Earth today undoubtedly he would fight against the tyrannical policies of prevailing global economic and political systems, as He did in His lifetime.”

Christ has blessed America. That is why our military has kicked the collective asses of the Taliban, Al Qaeda, and Saddam Hussein.

You are next, Mahmoud. I cannot wait until either America or Israel nukes the hell out of your country.

Merry Christmas, bastard.

A protest where it counts!

Posted by Carlos C. on Thursday, December 18th, 2008 at 3:13 pm

Inside an auditorium at Iran’s Shiraz University.

Ed Morrissey writes:

The Left fell in love with a reporter who threw shoes at a man who couldn’t (and wouldn’t) take retribution against his protest. What about supporting a protester who actually put his neck on the line to “tell truth to power”? Two weeks ago, an Iranian student ripped Ali Larijani to his face at a speech and denounced Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

No shoes were harmed in the filming of this incident, but the speaker may have been lucky to get out alive. As soon as he denounced Larijani as illegitimate, a cheer went up in the auditorium, but it quickly got drowned out as soon as the student directed his ire to Ahmadinejad. While the protester described the Iranian president as “nauseating”, some in the auditorium jumped to their feet and started chanting support slogans for Ahmadinejad — including “Death to hypocrites!”

Note the reaction of the rest of the students in this video, taken at Shiraz University on December 5th. They don’t seem happy to find themselves in the middle of this near-riot, although Larijani himself seems unmoved by either the criticism or the response. The student gets shouted off the stage, and no one seems interested in defending him.

Which took more guts — tossing shoes at President Bush in Iraq, or standing up to the mullahcracy in Iran?

The student hates Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Hugo Chavez. He’s alright with me.

There are tens of thousands of college students in Iran who have the same sentiments towards the Iranian government, as well as despise Ahmadinejad. These college students are not as easily brainwashed as the 13-year-old children from this morning’s Scoop This blog.

Hopefully, these young college students will be able to take control of their country before all options are exhausted and a coalition force, or Israel or America alone, attack Iran. (And we know they have nuclear weapon capabilities.)

New McCain ad: “Preconditions”

Posted by Carlos C. on Wednesday, October 29th, 2008 at 6:27 pm

This follows up nicely with the video about dictators laughing at Barack Obama.

Scoop This has documented extensively Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s threats against Israel. Ahmadinejad verbally threats Israel every week and he has called Israel the “germ of corruption”.

Also, this is not the first time John McCain has attacked Barack Obama on this issue. John McCain contends that Barack Obama does not understand the terrorist threat Iran poses on Israel and the world.

Yet, even when faced with all of these facts, Barack Obama will not admit that he is wrong by stating that he would meet the world’s dictators without preconditions.

It is up to us, the American voters, not to admit Barack Obama into the White House on November 4th.

“On Thursday, we enrich uranium.”

Funny. And scary.

Arab leaders are on Al Qaeda enemies hit list.

Posted by Carlos C. on Monday, September 22nd, 2008 at 11:29 am

Civil war!

AKI reports:

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi are among several Arab leaders considered enemies of Al-Qaeda, according to a new video released by the terror network.

Their names are included on a list of enemies in the video released by Al-Qaeda’s production arm, al-Sahab, on the seventh anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.

Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, and Iraq’s Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Husaini al-Sistani, and leader of Lebanon’s Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah, are also included on the list.

The video, released by the Arab network, also focuses on relations between Al-Qaeda and other Islamist groups.

Ayman al-Zawahiri, speaking on behalf of Al Qaeda in a new video, says that Al Qaeda is mad because they are “asked” to fight the Christian and Jewish infidels, while Muslim leaders in Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and other countries negotiate peace with Israel and the West. Al Qaeda claims that Ahmadinejad has “recognized Israel”. Really? Ahmadinejad threatens Israel every week with its forthcoming destruction!

Hassan Nasrallah, Hezbollah leader, is on the list. Nasrallah started a war with Israel two years ago! Does Al Qaeda have an official fact check team?

Also, the video also targets Iraq’s spiritual leader, Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani. Sistani is accused of serving and promoting American interests in Iraq. Or perhaps Sistani is tired of dictatorships and violence wrought on by extremist Islamic groups and politicians.

Ahmadinejad’s weekly threat to Israel.

Posted by Carlos C. on Saturday, September 13th, 2008 at 8:23 pm

haaretz.com

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad vowed Friday to keep supporting the Palestinian militant group Hamas until the “collapse of Israel.”

The Iranian news agency Khabar quoted Ahmadinejad as telling Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh that Iran views the support of the Palestinian people as part of its religious and national duty and that Iran will stand behind the Palestinian nation “until the big victory feast which is the collapse of the Zionist regime.”

In a phone conversation between the two leaders, the Iranian president said that the continued Hamas resistance against Israel and the group’s achievements would always be “a source of pride for all Muslims.” ran does not acknowledge the sovereignty of Israel and vowed to support Hamas until what Ahmadinejad calls “deliverance from Zionists (Israel).”

Haniyeh, the leader of the Islamist Hamas movement in the Gaza Strip, was elected Palestinian prime minister in 2006, but was dismissed in June 2007 by Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, after Hamas violently seized control over the Gaza Strip from Abbas’ Palestinian Authority.

I feel as if Ahmadinejad verbally threats Israel every week. These are the types of threats that will lead to Mahmoud have a couple dozen nukes up his ass. Also, five American religious organizations will break bread with Mahmoud in a couple of weeks when Mahmoud visits New York City. Hopefully, the CIA assassinates Mahmoud in a couple of weeks.

New McCain attack ad: “Tiny”

Posted by Carlos C. on Wednesday, August 27th, 2008 at 11:24 am

breitbart.tv

Well, there is an AP story claiming that McCain is distorting Obama’s position on Iran, but I believe Obama does not understand the threat Iran poses. There is absolute no way an American President should talk to Ahmadinejad. American politicians and diplomats should talk with Iran if there is regime change. There is a new J-Post report today stating that Grand Ayatollah Bajat Sanjani has called Ahmadinejad a “major threat”. The report states:

An Iranian cleric accused President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad of betraying the people and called on reformers to unite to defeat him in next year’s elections, according to an interview in a German newspaper quoted by Reuters, Wednesday.

“Ahmadinejad is not complying with the will of the people,” The Financial Times Deutschland quoted Grand Ayatollah Bajat Sanjani as saying. “This is a major threat, a big danger,” the cleric added in an unusually direct personal attack.

The newspaper also said Sanjani accused Ahmadinejad’s government of breaking the law, seriously violating personal freedom and illegally empowering the Revolutionary Guard.

Ahmadinejad is expected to run for a second term in Iran’s next presidential election, slated to take place early in 2009. His reformist rivals are expected to attack him especially on his economic policies.

Iran suffers from a rising consumer price index, high percentage of unemployment and an inflation of 26 percent.

At least some of the Iranian people are growing tired of Ahmadinejad’s crap! But I am reminded of Ahmadinejad’s popularity, especially on “Death to America Day”, and he will command much of the popular vote. I wonder how long Grand Ayatollah Sanjani has to live.

UPDATE 1:
Hot Air has the video and synopsis of Obama’s comments that are featured in John McCain’s ad.

Obama’s “tough-talk” diplomacy is reminiscent of Jimmy Carter’s diplomacy. Studying history, we know Carter never talked tough, and if (when) history proves right, Obama will not talk “tough” either. Obama is an appeaser, and a dangerous one at that. Iran funds and supplies terrorists in Iraq, as well as Hezb’Allah in Lebanon. Iran is also building nuclear weapons and threatens Israel’s destruction every week. Iran does not care for diplomacy. They want to extort money from America and our allies through fear. Most dangerous of all, Ahmadinejad may not care about Iranians at all and launch nuclear weapons at Israel, knowing full well Iran will be destroyed.

Can “tough talk” really stop that?

Ahmadinejad calls Israel ‘germ of corruption’ to be ‘removed soon’.

Posted by Carlos C. on Wednesday, August 20th, 2008 at 1:09 pm

jpost.com

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is calling Israel a “germ of corruption” that will be “removed soon.”

The comments were posted Wednesday on his presidential Web site. They appear to be part of an effort to defuse criticism by hard-liners over recent remarks made by a high-level official.

Last week, Iranian media quoted Vice President Esfandiar Rahim Mashai as saying Iranians were “friends of all people in the world - even Israelis.”

The comments were rare from a government official in Iran. They sparked domestic criticism of Mashai, with some officials calling for his resignation.

I believe that the Iranian people are good and honest, just like the Iraqi people. It’s the majority of the Iranian government that keeps the Iranian people in check and tells them how to think, how to feel, and how to love. The Iranian government kills gay people and any other dissident. I won’t be surprised if Vice President Mashai is removed from power by Ahmadinejad.

Also, Gateway Pundit is reporting Ahmadinejad stated, “We will witness (the) dismantling of the corrupt (Zionist) regime in a very near future.” Ahmadinejad made these comments at the 6th Annual World Mosque Week.
