The Us Weekly cover you did not see.

Instead of the mainstream media and Katie Couric asking for Sarah Palin’s paternity tests for her son Trig, why not ask for paternity tests of John Edwards and his alleged daughter, Frances?

It is beyond hypocritical that John Edwards is given the luxury of a media blackout, while Sarah Palin, Bristol Palin, and the rest of the Palin family are besmirched hour by hour by liberal fringe blogs and the liberal mainstream media. John Edwards confession that he cheated on his wife is aired at 11:30pm on Nightline while everyone is watching the Olympics, but the Palin family are headline news with continuing 24-hour coverage. So much for trustworthy media!

More juicy details about John Edwards affair!

Posted by Carlos C. on Wednesday, August 20th, 2008 at 6:01 am

Allegedly, of course…

NY Post

John Edwards assured his mistress that they’d be together after his cancer-stricken wife died, according to a new bombshell report.

Just before the former presidential contender confessed his adultery to ABC News on Aug. 8, he secretly flew Rielle Hunter and her 6-month-old child, Frances Quinn, from California to the US Virgin Islands, according to the National Enquirer, which first exposed their affair.

And after the interview, in which he denied loving Hunter or fathering the baby, he called her to say, “We’ll be together when Elizabeth is gone,” the tabloid reported.

For her part, Hunter bragged that Edwards is “a real good lover,” the Enquirer said.

And after she joined him in New Orleans in 2006 for the official launch of his candidacy - which Elizabeth skipped - Hunter told a pal that “it was one of the happiest nights of her life,” according to the Enquirer.

“She felt like she was his first lady,” the tabloid reported, quoting a source.

The Enquirer, citing sources, also reported that 55-year-old Edwards:

* Slept with Hunter the night they met in a New York City bar in 2006.

* First told Hunter, 44, he loved her during a trip to Africa. “I broke down in tears,” she told a friend.

* Flew to Boston on the same plane with 59-year-old Elizabeth and Hunter, who was the campaign videographer, right before his wife learned of the affair.

* Said he “wouldn’t hear of” an abortion after he impregnated Hunter in 2007.

Damn, Edwards! You truly are a bastard!

Why did you not let Rielle get an abortion, John? You do have a 100% NARAL approval rating.

Embarrassed much?

UPDATE 1: Gateway Pundit has more!

The day prior to Edwards bombshell admission to an affair on ABC’s Nightline, Rielle Hunter and her 6 month old daughter, Frances Quinn Hunter, were flown out of the US onboard a chartered Learjet.

The private flight cost $50,000 and was paid for by Edwards’ pals. The Hunters were the solo passengers aboard the eight-hour flight.

Destination: St. Croix in the Virgin Islands!

THE ENQUIRER tracked Rielle to St. Croix where our reporters discovered Rielle and the baby stayed in a luxurious oceanfront home owned by controversial trial lawyer Lee Rohn, another close friend of Edwards.

When visited by an ENQUIRER reporter on August 15, Rohn snapped a terse “No comment!” when questioned about Hunter.

Former Virgin Island Senator Anne Golden confirmed to THE ENQUIRER that “within 24 hours of their arrival that they were here and staying with Lee Rohn.”

After the ENQUIRER discovered Rielle’s hideaway with Rohn, she was moved to a motel on the island before returning to Santa Barbara on August 17 according to another source.

An ENQUIRER reporter then saw Rielle back in her California home, which is being paid for by Edwards’ former finance chairman Fred Baron.

And Rielle now has an off-duty police officer guarding her house.

Edwards is not only aware of the hush money payoffs but orchestrated it with his team of former campaign advisers and now The ENQUIRER has discovered that a team of six more lawyers have been involved in the cover-up and are funneling payments to Hunter, who has no money and no means of support.

The ENQUIRER has also learned that Hunter’s own lawyer advised her to allow Edwards to take a paternity test but she refused out of misguided belief that Edwards will marry her after the death of his cancer-stricken wife Elizabeth.

DAMN!

I want the IRS to take down Edwards!

The IRS should arrest Edwards and Hunter for tax evasion because they need to claim the hush money and the $15,000 monthly child support money!

UPDATE 2:
AllahPundit at Hot Air is wondering who tipped off The Enquirer to Rielle Hunter’s “vacation”.

I’m guessing Rielle herself! Rielle wants to marry John, she wants money, and she wants the notoriety and lifestyle that comes with John Edwards.

Bill Clinton fathered John Edwards baby!

Posted by Carlos C. on Monday, August 18th, 2008 at 2:58 pm

Ann Coulter

The good news: DNA testing has confirmed that John Edwards is not the father of Rielle Hunter’s baby.

The bad news: The father is Bill Clinton.

Ha ha — just kidding! It’s almost impossible to get pregnant by having the type of sex Bill Clinton prefers.

LOL!

Just thought I would share a joke today.

ET Exclusive: John Edwards is the father!

Posted by Carlos C. on Thursday, August 14th, 2008 at 5:50 pm

Well, Rielle Hunter’s sister is claiming John Edwards is the father of the baby because “…the baby, Frances, looks just like John. The baby has John’s eyes.” Also, Hunter’s sister says the affair is still “red hot”!

Come out of the closet, John, and admit that Frances your baby. Reveal the truth solely to Scoop This, and we’ll personally pay for the paternity test! We know you can afford the test yourself if skip your $400 hair appointment, but that’s okay, we promise to pay for that, too. However, you have to pick up the $15,000-a-month child support tab, John. Sorry.

Exposing Media Bias.

Posted by Carlos C. on Sunday, August 10th, 2008 at 6:37 pm

When it comes to media bias in American politics, exposing that bias is like exposing your lawn is green (unless you live in New Jersey). Everyone knows that it is there, and the media still continues to do it. But recently, when it comes to extramarital affairs and allegations of an affair, the media will protect you… if you are a Democrat. Shocking, huh?

This past February, the New York Times alleged that Senator McCain had an affair with lobbyist Vicki Iseman during McCain’s first White House run 8 years ago. The New York Times cited “low-level” staff members “close” to McCain who had “knowledge” of the affair. Right. Both McCain and Iseman denied the affair, however, the idiots at the Huffington Post ran with the story. It’s safe to say that all liberal media outlets and blogs were quick to accept the allegations as true. Of course it has to be true - it was in the New York Times! However, the American people laughed off the New York Times report as sensationalist and dishonest.

Last October, while John Edwards was still running for President, the National Enquirer ran a story alleging Edwards was having an affair with Rielle Hunter. Edwards called the story “tabloid trash”. Edwards was given the benefit of the doubt, especially since news reports in the National Enquirer are perceived as Hollywood gossip. The writers and editors of the National Enquirer kept working the story and finally cornered Edwards visiting Hunter at the Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles.

However, after the National Enquirer story was posted, the media moved quickly to protect Edwards and the Democratic Party. The media did not report the story. Wikipedia closed Edwards page entry. The Los Angeles Times banned its bloggers from writing about the story. It took a Fox News report to at least give the National Enquirer story some sense of credibility.

Now, John Edwards is furious that ABC News released a news story BEFORE the Olympic Games opening ceremony started on Friday, saying that his confession was to be aired exclusively at 11:30pm on ABC’s Nightline, when no one would be watching. ABC News posted the story at 3:01pm. Drudge Report linked to the ABC News story at 3:02pm, and Scoop This posted a breaking news blog at 3:03pm. Scoop This believes that ABC News did this in order to keep the story away from Rush Limbaugh, whose radio show ends at 3:00pm, and his 20 million listeners. However, Todd Schnitt and Sean Hannity, both with millions of listeners, covered the story on their 3:00pm radio shows.

Exposing credible Democratic scandals and affairs has been left up to less-than-credible print media, while a Republican who has a friend that was a lobbyist 8 years ago leads to reports and allegations of an affair by prestigious newspaper outlets. And liberals bitch about Fox News being “fair and balanced”? Right.

John Edwards admits affair!

Posted by Carlos C. on Friday, August 8th, 2008 at 3:03 pm

Breaking News…

Developing…

UDPATE 1: ABC News

Developing…

UPDATE 2:

John Edwards repeatedly lied during his Presidential campaign about an extra-marital affair with a novice film-maker, the former Senator admitted to ABC News today.

In an interview for broadcast tonight on Nightline, Edwards told ABC News correspondent Bob Woodruff he did have an affair with 42-year old Rielle Hunter, but said that he did not love her.

Edwards also denied he was the father of Hunter’s baby girl, Frances Quinn, although the one-time Democratic Presidential candidate said he has not taken a paternity test.

Edwards said he knew he was not the father based on timing of the baby’s birth on February 27, 2008. He said his affair ended too soon for him to have been the father.

A former campaign aide, Andrew Young, has said he was the father of the child

UPDATE 3:
Well, the National Enquirer was right!

SENATOR JOHN EDWARDS CAUGHT WITH A MISTRESS!!!

UPDATE 4: Wikipedia finally allowed John Edwards entry to be changed!

UPDATE 5: The bigger story here is that the mainstream media, except for Fox News, blocked this story. They covered for John Edwards and for the Democratic Party. Now, all the cable news channels, as well as print and website outlets, can’t talk about this story fast enough! They are tripping over themselves to get the exclusive story!

And how convenient that this news comes out at 3:00pm, just as Rush Limbaugh’s show ended!

This is why everyone needs websites such as Scoop This, Drudge Report, Hot Air, Gateway Pundit, Blackfive, The Jawa Report, and so many more conservative outlets. This is why everyone needs conservative talk radio. We have the story first and we are correct.

UDPATE 6: John Edwards released the following statement.

In 2006, I made a serious error in judgment and conducted myself in a way that was disloyal to my family and to my core beliefs. I recognized my mistake and I told my wife that I had a liaison with another woman, and I asked for her forgiveness. Although I was honest in every painful detail with my family, I did not tell the public. When a supermarket tabloid told a version of the story, I used the fact that the story contained many falsities to deny it. But being 99% honest is no longer enough.

I was and am ashamed of my conduct and choices, and I had hoped that it would never become public. With my family, I took responsibility for my actions in 2006 and today I take full responsibility publicly. But that misconduct took place for a short period in 2006. It ended then. I am and have been willing to take any test necessary to establish the fact that I am not the father of any baby, and I am truly hopeful that a test will be done so this fact can be definitively established. I only know that the apparent father has said publicly that he is the father of the baby. I also have not been engaged in any activity of any description that requested, agreed to or supported payments of any kind to the woman or to the apparent father of the baby.

It is inadequate to say to the people who believed in me that I am sorry, as it is inadequate to say to the people who love me that I am sorry. In the course of several campaigns, I started to believe that I was special and became increasingly egocentric and narcissistic. If you want to beat me up — feel free. You cannot beat me up more than I have already beaten up myself. I have been stripped bare and will now work with everything I have to help my family and others who need my help.

I have given a complete interview on this matter and having done so, will have nothing more to say.

UPDATE 7:
So… Obama goes on vacation to Hawaii at the right time, the Olympics start tonight, and by this time next week, this will be “old news”. Can anyone imagine if this story “broke” during the Democratic national convention? Or if it “broke” on November 1st, 3 days before the election?

I bet someone at ABC News approached John Edwards stating that they have the evidence against him and would go public, so Edwards gave ABC News the exclusive interview. But, the interview will be on Nightline, which airs at 11:30pm, when young people are out partying and old people are watching Letterman and Leno. The mainstream liberal media really are covering for Edwards, Obama, and the whole Democratic party.

UPDATE 8: Democrats are starting to distance themselves from John Edwards. This most likely means Edwards will not speak at the Democratic national convention, or even appear at all!

Also, when asked, Hillary Clinton said that she’s “praying” for the Edwards family, and John McCain said that he will not comment on the matter.

Proof? John Edwards holds his love child!

Posted by Carlos C. on Wednesday, August 6th, 2008 at 12:13 pm

The National Enquirer is claiming that this is the first-ever picture of John Edwards holding his baby girl, Frances Quinn Hunter. This is a “spy photo”. Not sure what that means, but Scoop This wonders how this photo was taken. Was the photo taken with a high-powered lens? Or was the photo taken with a camera phone?

Also, the key reason why John Edwards is not claiming his daughter is due to IRS tax concerns. Edwards launders $15,000 a month to Riell Hunter through a wealthy colleague of Edwards. Edwards is supposedly worth $100 million, so he can afford it.

Hey bloggers,

There has been a little buzz surrounding John Edwards and his alleged affair. Because the only source has been the National Enquirer we have decided not to cover the rumors or salacious speculations. So I am asking you all not to blog about this topic until further notified.

If you have any questions or are ever in need of story ideas that would best fit your blog, please don’t hesitate to ask

Keep rockin,

Tony

The National Enquirer has filed a criminal complaint against the Beverly Hilton hotel because the hotel’s security staff acted unlawfully while National Enquirer reporters tried to question former Senator John Edwards.

If John Edwards was a Republican, every liberal newspaper in the country would carry this story.

Update 1:

Security Guard Confirms Late-Night Encounter Between Former Sen. John Edwards, Tabloid Reporters In Beverly Hills Hotel!!!

“What are they saying about me?” the guard said Edwards asked.

“His face just went totally white,” the guard said, when Edwards was told the reporters were shouting out questions about Edwards and Rielle Hunter, a woman the National Enquirer says is the mother of his child.

SENATOR JOHN EDWARDS CAUGHT WITH A MISTRESS!!!

Posted by Carlos C. on Tuesday, July 22nd, 2008 at 4:58 pm

NATIONAL ENQUIRER

JOHN EDWARDS, MISTRESS, AND LOVE CHILD CAUGHT AT BEVERLY HILTON HOTEL…

Vice Presidential candidate Sen. John Edwards was caught visiting his mistress and secret love child at 2:40 this morning in a Los Angeles hotel by the NATIONAL ENQUIRER.

The married ex-senator from North Carolina - whose wife Elizabeth continues to battle cancer — met with his mistress, blonde divorcee Rielle Hunter, at the Beverly Hilton on Monday night July 21 - and the NATIONAL ENQUIRER was there! He didn’t leave until early the next morning.

Rielle had driven to Los Angeles from Santa Barbara with a male friend for the rendezvous with Edwards. The former senator attended a press event Monday afternoon with L.A. Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa on the topic of how to combat homelessness.

But a months-long NATIONAL ENQUIRER investigation had yielded information that Rielle and Edwards, 54, had arranged to secretly meet afterward and for the ex-senator to spend some time with both his mistress and the love child who he refuses to publicly acknowledge as his own.

The NATIONAL ENQUIRER broke the story of Edwards’ love child scandal last year, when Rielle was still pregnant and Edwards was still considered a strong candidate for the Democratic presidential nomination.

Both parties denied the NATIONAL ENQUIRER report and a close friend of Edwards’ came forward and said he was the father of Rielle’s baby. But sources told the NATIONAL ENQUIRER a far different story - they revealed that Edwards was engineering a massive cover up of his shocking infidelity.

Sources came forward after that story appeared and told The NATIONAL ENQUIRER that Edwards and Rielle had met secretly several times, so that he could see his baby and continue his relationship with Rielle.

The NATIONAL ENQUIRER learned that one such meeting was set for yesterday and observed the secret meeting.

At 9:45 p.m. (PST) Monday Edwards appeared at the hotel, and was dropped off at a side entrance. NATIONAL ENQUIRER reporter Alan Butterfield witnessed the ex-senator get out of a BMW driven by a male companion and stroll into the hotel.

Said Butterfield: “Edwards was not carrying anything. He walked in alone. He was wearing a blue dress shirt with the sleeves rolled up. He was looking around nervously before he entered the hotel.

“Once inside, he interestingly bypassed the lobby and ducked down a side stairs to go to the bottom floor to catch the elevator up - rather than taking the elevator in the main lobby. He went out of his way not to be seen.”

Meanwhile, Reille had reserved rooms 246 and 252 under the name of the friend who had accompanied her from Santa Barbara, Bob McGovern. Reille was in one room and McGovern was in another with her baby. This allowed her and Edwards to spend time alone, a source revealed.

Edwards went out of the hotel briefly with Reille, was observed by the NATIONAL ENQUIRER and then went back to her room, where he stayed until attempting to sneak out of the hotel unseen at 2:40 a.m. (PST). But when he emerged alone from an elevator into the hotel basement he was greeted by several reporters from the NATIONAL ENQUIRER.

Senior NATIONAL ENQUIRER Reporter Alexander Hitchen asked Edwards why he was visiting Rielle and whether he was ready to confirm that he was the father of her baby.

Shocked to see a reporter, and without saying anything, Edwards ran up the stairs leading from the hotel basement to the lobby. But, spotting a photographer, he doubled back into the basement. As he emerged from the stairwell, reporter Butterfield asked questioned him about his hookup with Reille.

Edwards did not answer and then ran into a nearby restroom. He stayed inside for about 15 minutes, refusing to answer questions from the NATIONAL ENQUIRER about what he was doing in the hotel. A group of hotel security men eventually escorted him from the men’s room, while preventing the NATIONAL ENQUIRER reporters from following him out of the hotel.

Said reporter Hitchen: “After we confronted him about seeing Rielle, Edwards looked like a deer caught in headlights!

“He was clearly surprised that we had caught him at this very late hour inside the hotel.

\ “Some guests up at this late hour watched the spectacle in amusement from a staircase nearby.”

Meanwhile, Rielle’s friend McGovern also refused to answer any questions from the NATIONAL ENQUIRER or offer any explanation for her meeting with Edwards.

The Edwards “love child” scandal drew international press attention after the NATIONAL ENQUIRER published a blockbuster investigation about the politician in our Dec. 31, 2007 print edition.

We reported that Rielle, a woman linked to Edwards in a cheating scandal earlier last year, was more than six months pregnant - and we reported that she told a close confidante that Edwards was the father of her baby!

Edwards denied the affair and that he was the father, and in a bizarre twist, a close friend of his, Alexander Young, said he was the father. Young, 41, was married at the time with three children. The NATIONAL ENQUIRER has learned he still is married.

Sources told the NATIONAL ENQUIRER exclusively that Edwards had engineered a massive cover up of the affair and love child scandal and that Young was taking the blame for his good friend. At the time Rielle had been relocated from the New York area to Chapel Hill in Edwards’ home state of North Carolina, where she was living in an upscale gated community down the street from Young. Strangely, Young even had Rielle to his house for dinner with his wife and kids, the NATIONAL ENQUIRER has learned.

Young has been extremely close to Edwards for years and was a key official in his presidential campaign.

Rielle is a self-described filmmaker whose company was hired by a pro-Edwards group called One America Committee. She was paid $114,000 to produce videos for Edwards’ campaign and worked with him on those videos.

Reporters from other media outlets asked Edwards about The NATIONAL ENQUIRER report during a campaign stop in Columbia, S.C.

Edwards responded: “The story is false. It’s completely untrue, ridiculous,” adding: “Anyone who knows me knows that I have been in love with the same woman for 30-plus years.”

Rielle issued her own statement, saying in part: “The innuendos and lies that have appeared on the Internet and in the NATIONAL ENQUIRER concerning John Edwards are not true, completely unfounded and ridiculous.”

But a source told the NATIONAL ENQUIRER: “Now that it seems to have blown wide open, Rielle may get her wish - all she wants is for John to marry her and for them to live happily ever after with their baby. She’s tired of running and living a lie.”

A representative for Reille had no comment on last night’s meeting with Edwards.
