The story of American Airlines Flight 11.
Flight 11 was the first plane to hit the World Trade Center at 8:46am.
The story of United Airlines Flight 175.
Flight 175 was the second plane to hit the World Trade Center at 9:03am.
The South Tower is the first tower to fall at 9:59am.
The North Tower falls at 10:29am.
The North Tower was the first tower to be hit, but the second to fall. Hopefully, that gave the people inside on the bottom floors ample time to escape. There were hardly any survivors, if any, from the upper floors of either tower after the planes hit. The people in the upper floors most likely died from smoke inhalation.
