New York Giants fans destroy cars!

Posted by Carlos C. on Thursday, January 15th, 2009 at 8:19 am

After the Philadelphia Eagles defeated the New York Giants 23 to 11 on Sunday, New York Giants fans decided to take out their frustrations on a couple of burned-out vehicles.

These videos were posted on You Tube a couple of days ago, but were removed.

They have been re-posted.

deadspin.com

Some Giants fans were positively apoplectic after the loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. So much that they chose to take out their frustration on burned-out cars in a parking lot.

Now, obviously, these are a select group of drooling Big Blue fans and in no way reflect the majority of their fanbase ( I hope). Thankfully, it appears the vehicles being destroyed with bats, kicked, and vandalized were already in bad shape due to an unfortunate tailgate mishap earlier in the day, according to the comments in this NBC story. “Justin” and his merry pack of Jersey mooks make the most of the situation, though.

In the video below, Justin is joined by a few other individuals to help obliterate a Porsche. Points for the girl chucking the hibachi; no points for Justin’s flailing windshield leap. Oh, and the guy half-assedly kicking the bumper should really be ashamed of himself for not taking full advantage of the weaponry available to him. “Give ‘im the bat!”

Idiots.

Sam Bradford wins the 2008 Heisman Trophy!

Posted by Carlos C. on Saturday, December 13th, 2008 at 9:57 pm

Oklahoma Sooners quarterback Sam Bradford wins the 2008 Heisman Trophy award!

Quarterbacks Tim Tebow (Florida Gators) and Colt McCoy (Texas Longhorns) were also candidates in this year’s Heisman race.

Breaking News…

Developing…

UPDATE 1: Colt McCoy was second in all total votes, and Tim Tebow was third.

UPDATE 2: CBS Sportsline

NEW YORK — Sam Bradford’s biggest score: the Heisman Trophy.

Oklahoma’s amazingly accurate and quick-thinking quarterback won the Heisman on Saturday night after guiding the highest-scoring team in major college football history to the national championship game.

A year after Tim Tebow became the first sophomore to win the Heisman, Bradford became the second and kept the Florida quarterback from joining Archie Griffin as the only two-time winners.

I was hoping Colt McCoy would win.

The Texas Longhorns are screwed again.

Plaxico Burress shoots himself in the leg.

Posted by Carlos C. on Sunday, November 30th, 2008 at 6:50 am

FOX Sports

Plaxico Burress’ troubled season hit a sad low Saturday, when FOXSports.com’s Jay Glazer reported the Giants wide receiver accidentally shot himself in the leg. A look at some notable events in his tumultuous 2008.

June 11: Burress disrupts the first day of Giants minicamp by saying he won’t practice until he receives a contract extension.

Sept. 4: Burress signs a two-year extension shortly before the Giants open their season against the Redskins.

Sept. 24: Burress is suspended and fined over $235,000 (later reduced to $117,000) for missing a practice and not calling to explain his absence.

Oct. 24: The NFL fines Burress $45,000 for criticizing officials and throwing a ball into the stands after their Week 7 win over the 49ers.

Nov. 16: Burress pulls his hamstring in a game against the Ravens, then re-aggravates it a week later against the Cardinals.

Nov. 28: Burress is declared out for the upcoming game against the Redskins due to the hamstring injury.

Nov. 29: FOXSports.com’s Jay Glazer reports that Burress accidentally shot himself in the leg the night before.

FOX Sports also reports that Plaxico Burress could face a charge of illegally carrying a concealed weapon, as well as more disciplinary action from the National Football League.

What an idiot.

Check out the news video at Breitbart.tv.

SEC charges Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban with insider trading.

Posted by Carlos C. on Monday, November 17th, 2008 at 2:51 pm

breitbart.tv

WSJ: The SEC alleges in a civil action that Mr. Cuban sold his entire 6% ownership stake on June 28, 2004, after learning that Mamma.com was raising money through a private investment in a public entity, or PIPE. The next day, on June 29, the company announced the PIPE financing and shares of the company dropped by more than 10%. By selling his stake, the SEC alleges, Mr. Cuban avoided more than $750,000 in losses.

So, Martha Stewart gets prison time for selling stock illegally, and Mark Cuban does not?

UPDATE 1: Mark Cuban has responded on his Maverick Blog to the charges as having “no merit”.

Vice President-elect Joe Biden booed at Eagles-Giants game!

Posted by Carlos C. on Monday, November 10th, 2008 at 2:18 am

The Giants and Eagles played in front of a special guest. Vice President-elect Joe Biden watched the game in a luxury suite with Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie. Biden was booed when he was showed on the video screen.

The game would have been better if the EAGLES won the game, but they lost 36 to 31 because the EAGLES cannot run for 1 yard when needed.

EAGLES fans should be careful, though. They could be arrested by the Philadelphia police for dissenting against the future Obama Administration.

Hat Tip: Michelle Malkin

UPDATE 1: JammieWearingFool says that Biden was not booed.

You know what?

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
