Leaked Scene: Homer Simpson will vote for Obama.

This is a leaked scene for The Simpsons episode that will air on November 2nd.

Matt Groening is a hippie liberal, so of course he would make Homer Simpson vote for Barack Obama. This also shows that the “stupid vote” is swinging to Obama.

There’s some good news… Michael Moore AND Homer Simpson on Obama’s team. Whats next, the Three Stooges? Oh, wait… too late.

I still laughed. It was rather funny, even in it’s stupidity, which I figure made it even funnier.

Yes, it is a funny scene.

I just hate Matt Groening’s politics, as well as some of his Simpsons episodes where he tries to paint the military as a “last resort” for teenagers and highlights the Iraq war as a “mistake”.

It was funny but Homer Simpson is technically an independent. In an old episode he said “Damn Democrats”; he and his family also voted for Krusty the Clown (a Republican) as a Congressman. However, in an older episode they got Joe Quimby re-elected (a Democrat.) Homer was at a time best friends with McBain aka Rainer Wolfcastle who is a Republican and Bart dated his daughter. Then, of course there’s the episode where he and George H.W. Bush were neighbors and hijinks ensued.

However, Groening and the writers have shown their anti-conservatism too satirizing Rush Limbaugh (Birch Barlow), making the Republican Party built up of Dr. Hibbert, Sideshow Bob, Dracula, Count Chocula, a zombie, Mr. Burns, and a rich oil tycoon.

There’s also the episodes you highlighted Los. “Simpsons” will never be a fair and balanced show. (Personally the way they could make it better is if they either A. Killed off Lisa. Seriously her character comes off as a naggy, tight-panties Patty. or B. Cancell the show.)

As much as I LOVE “The Simpsons” it’s been on 20 years and has lost it’s steam over the past 15 years. Some fans will argue, the show died at Season 8 or 10, I think by Season 15, I saw the show start to fade out it’s candle. I still laugh and chuckle at a few things but in the end, it’s really time to let the show go. The movie was a sign that the show’s demise should be near.
