“Go back to India!”
Posted by Carlos C. on Friday, September 19th, 2008 at 4:44 pmResidents of Galveston are now into the city after Hurricane Ike hit the city last week. ABC News played a clip of a police officer telling a driver to “Go back to India!” after the officer and the driver argued about a road block.
The officer’s comments are not right, but I have to admit that this is funny. I bet he will at least be disciplined, or even fired, for his comments.

Nice that you admit that you find racist comments funny!

Well, the video is funny. As I stated, I do not approve of the officer’s comments.

Is there a way to disable “anonymous” posts?
I haven’t seen one yet that implies anything but contempt from the Author.

And I’m not advocating for censorship, just openness about who we’re dealing with.

The other thought I have on this is it reminds us why thousands didn’t leave Galveston in the first place. When it’s as hard as it is to get back to your home, I can see why some might’ve taken the risk.
It goes to show that when we rely on government, whether it’s local, state, or federal, we’ll always be dissapointed with the results. Live for yourself and assume nobody is going to help you and you’ll be prepared for anything. Live Free or Die.

This is the reality for non white Americans. If you are white in America even if you just got here from Slovenia this is the reality you don’t have to deal with. How difficult can it be for white Americans to understand about the very real humiliation people have to go through in this country. There are racist people like this cop every where in America. There are also some very decent Americans of all color that hold this country together.

Yeah, but Kelsey finds it “funny” so he’ll give it some airtime here for a giggle!
Hi there, Kelsey. I’m not anonymous.
