How to brainwash kids: Sing for Change!

Posted by Carlos C. on Tuesday, September 30th, 2008 at 11:22 am

Are these kids singing for Barack Obama or Kim Jong-Il?

I doubt these little kids, ages 5 through 12, know what the hell they are singing about. But their teacher, Kathy Sawada, who is an Obama supporter and financial contributor, sure does. Kathy Sawada willingly brainwashes her students with Hitler-esque platitudes of “Hope and Change”. What is worse, the parents are also willing participants.

Peaceful and hopeful (brainwashed) Socialism. Can’t beat it!

Indoctrination.

UPDATE 1: Hat Tip to Ryan in our Scoop This comments section.

If you want to respond to Kathy Sawada, send her an email!

She teaches at the Colburn School of Performing Arts, an elite academy in Los Angeles, CA.

UPDATE 2: Drudge Report has a link stating that the head of NBC Universal, Jeff Zucker, is behind the video, along with other Hollywood “bigwigs”. When the link becomes available, I will post it.

Developing…

UPDATE 3: The link on Drudge goes to Barack Obama’s website. Yes, President and CEO of NBC Universal Jeffrey Zucker is definitely attached to this video. Oh, what was that about the mainstream media being in the tank for Obama?

Here is the Sing for Change website.

Poor kids. There parents have tricked them into believing that Government is the answer. Hitler-esque is a very good way to describe these substanceless expectations that people have for Obama. The only difference is… Germany actually did suck when Hitler was running on “hope and change.” Hitler didn’t fix it… but he never told the German people the specifics of his plans anyway, until it was too late.

At this stage, we know less about who Obama really is and what he’ll actually do once in office, than the German people knew of Hitler. It’s a horrible comparison I know, but if we’ve learned anything from history it is that we should demand specifics and a proven record from people running for office and we should ertainly never accept a candidate based upon mob mentality and vague promises of “hope” and “change.”

Never have I been more depressed in my life after watching something like this. These are the same fucking idiot teachers who are psuhing to have GOD taken out of the pledge of alliegence OR fight to keep the pledge out of schools.

  5. Ryan Says:

She teaches at the Colburn School of performing arts, an elite academy in Los Angeles, CA. Her name is Kathy Sawada.

  7. Mr.L Says:

I spoke to someone at Colburn. They said they had no idea that she did this.

America is NOT Nazi Germany - SHAME on this woman brainwashing our children —COBURN SCHOOL should be held accountable for this political ploy using our children.

What do you expect from the residents of Soviet Monica?

  10. Kelsey Golden Says:

Please don’t send her email, LoL.

Wow! I do not agree with this, and I am a Democrat. Republicans do the same thing in Churches. Look up Jesus Camp. They brainwash the children for their agenda too. Plus, socialist countries are much better off than America during these times.

  12. Says:

Jesus Camp is only made up of a few Christians. As a whole, the “Jesus Camp” group does not represent all of Christianity.

“Christians” not “Republicans.” The two are not one in the same. I’m a “Republican” as long as “Republican” means “conservative…” not whether or not they support the christian right even though as a Jew, many of the views supported by the Christian Right are very compatable with mine (aside from the part about me going to hell, ect).

An interesting comparison, you are in essence comparing the Obama campaign to a religion. That speaks volumes.

And since you seem to think that socialist countries are better off these days, I’ll give you an open invitation to trade places with me. After all, you’ll be better off, right?

Listen, there is a reason people emigrate *to* the US. You’re welcome to go to any socialist country, and “be better off”, but somehow I’d doubt you will. Me, I’d go to the US in a heartbeat, given the chance. So will millions of others.

  15. Says:

    Where do you live, Erik?

I don’t think this Jeff Zucker is the same Jeff Zucker. There is no way in hell that Jeff Zucker would ever personally pick up camera gear as the Obama article states. But more importantly, Jeff lives in NYC and only visists Burbank not Venice. I could be wrong but the idea of Jeff Zucker telling his driver to drive him to a rental house to get gear is a little much. Jeff would hire a crew and pay to have it shot. While, I know Jeff is a die hard liberal and will probably leave NBC to join an Obama administration if the anointed one is anointed, Keff would never blatantly support a candidate.

    My two cents…

Well I couldn’t listen to the whole thing. Their parents, if they know, are doing a terrible thing to their children. Where do they sing these songs? I am gonna puke!

Back in discussion of Jesus Camp you have to remember not every single solitary christian may not be a true christian. The first step is believing and reading the Bible. You start off with John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”

  18. Says:

Cayman, I will look into the Jeff Zucker claim.
