Pawlenty or Romney?

Will we learn who McCain’s running mate is tonight? Drudge Report has posted the following:

There is a rumor on RollCall.com that Romney has received a Secret Service security team. But, Hot Air is reporting that the Secret Service security team is just a rumor. Also, Tim Pawlenty, though he several public appearances, says he will be appearing at the Minnesota state fair tomorrow. Whoever the VP nominee will be, that person will be notified today, according to a report on Politico.com.
Also, Politico.com is reporting that there is going to be a special commercial airing in battleground states!
The leak of the McCain ticket mate would cause a news frenzy at at time when the Obama campaign wanted viewers to be focused on Obama’s economic and change messages.
McCain campaign communications director Jill Hazelbaker said in an MSNBC appearance that the battleground spot is “an historic ad — I think this is the first of its kind.”
“Senator McCain is going to have an ad that’s going to air in battleground states around the time that Senator Obama is speaking tonight,” Hazelbaker said. “He’s going to be talking directly to his opponent. So, I’m going to leave it there. But it’s going be very exciting. I think that a lot of people are going to focus on it.”
I hope the ad appears in Florida!

If he has this ad and leaks the VP name tonight, it will just reinforce his two-faced approach to this campaign… maybe he should just sit tonight out and keep from making more mistakes…
