Vice President-elect Joe Biden booed at Eagles-Giants game!

Posted by Carlos C. on Monday, November 10th, 2008 at 2:18 am

The Giants and Eagles played in front of a special guest. Vice President-elect Joe Biden watched the game in a luxury suite with Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie. Biden was booed when he was showed on the video screen.

The game would have been better if the EAGLES won the game, but they lost 36 to 31 because the EAGLES cannot run for 1 yard when needed.

EAGLES fans should be careful, though. They could be arrested by the Philadelphia police for dissenting against the future Obama Administration.

Hat Tip: Michelle Malkin

UPDATE 1: JammieWearingFool says that Biden was not booed.

You know what?

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

Donovan McNabb on Barack Obama.

Posted by Carlos C. on Thursday, November 6th, 2008 at 3:14 am

NBC Sports

Donovan McNabb grew up in Chicago never believing he would see a black man become president.

Perhaps that was one reason why the 31-year-old Philadelphia Eagles quarterback didn’t register to vote until this election.

McNabb, though, had met Barack Obama, believed in his ideas and supported his policies. Watching Obama deliver his victory speech at Grant Park brought back all sorts of memories.

“It reminded me of, obviously, when Martin Luther King spoke and the messages that he spoke about,” McNabb said Wednesday. “As a man, if you teared up, it was acceptable because it was that deep.

“For the first time, I had the opportunity to vote and I can say that I was a part of it,” he said.

Several Eagles players hollered Obama’s motto, “Yes, we can!”

Can we win the Super Bowl this season?

OPEN BLOG.

Posted by Carlos C. on Sunday, October 12th, 2008 at 9:50 pm

As the Head Writer at Scoop This, I want to apologize for my absence this past weekend. Since re-launching Scoop This on July 18, I have not had any sleep, and after nearly 85 days of no sleep, I have succumb to mental fatigue. However, Monday begins a new “work week” with new blogs. I will do my best to post at least 10 new blogs tomorrow, so I do hope all of our readers take the time to read those blogs and comment.

My favorite sports teams are doing well. Penn State University Nittany Lions are ranked number 3 in the college football nation. They should get a chance at the National Championship. Darryl Clark, the Nittany Lions quarterback, should be considered for a Heisman Trophy. Why? Well, Clark commands a Nittany Lions offense that scores 45 points per game. That’s why.

My other favorite college football team are the Miami Hurricanes. I believe the ‘Canes will compete for a National Championship in 2010 if they keep all of their young players. The ‘Canes will struggle this year, but should be ranked nationally next year in the Top 25. Coach Shannon is recruiting players from winning programs all across the state of Florida, so expect the Hurricanes to be back real soon.

The Philadelphia Eagles put up 40 points against the Arizona Cardinals today! Plus, the Cowboys and Redskins lost. Hopefully the Ravens will be able to knock off the Giants tomorrow night.

The Philadelphia Phillies have a 2-0 lead in the National League Championship Series! Right now, however, the Phillies are losing 6 to 1 in the bottom of the third inning against the Dodgers. The benches cleared, but a fight did not occur. I hope there is a fight and someone rocks the crap out of Manny Ramirez!

Well, the political blogs will return tomorrow. I have a lot of blogging to do tomorrow. The last presidential debate is on Wednesday night. John McCain is vowing to whip Barack Obama’s ass in the debate. Before all of you silly mental midget liberals begin to spin this blog, no, McCain did not use the word “ass”. I did. Also, I will set straight all the idiotic crap liberals have been spewing since the “trooper gate” non-scandal finally came to an end, especially the fact that Governor Palin did not break any laws.

Until then, congratulations to the Philadelphia Phillies on winning the National League Division Series!

Feel free to post comments!

NFL Week 5. (Olbermann is stupid.)

Posted by Carlos C. on Monday, October 6th, 2008 at 5:32 pm

Well, I did not get to this blog yesterday because I did not really watch much football yesterday. The EAGLES lost and I was semi-depressed for the rest of the day. Yes, the Phillies won their baseball game and are moving on in the playoffs, but whenever the EAGLES lose, I go into a depression. Also, the Giants and Cowboys won, so I would rather not blog while I am angry.

By now, you have watched the video above. I wonder if NBC has noticed that their Sunday Night Football ratings have fallen? If the numbers have not fallen, then just to let NBC know, I am not watching. Keith Olbermann thinks that he is clever, but like all the liberals I have ever met or have seen on television, he is an idiot and thinks that he can get away with slamming Governor Palin covertly. I am calling for a boycott of Sunday Night Football and Football Night in America until NBC removes Keith Olbermann from that time slot.

NFL Sunday - Week 4

Posted by Carlos C. on Monday, September 29th, 2008 at 10:22 am

Before I get into my political spiel, I have to play catch up from this past weekend. I phoned it in yesterday and posted video blogs containing ads from both candidates. I posted a great article by the Daily Mail about a Muslim cleric’s stripper daughter. Anyways, are you ready for some football (wrap-up)?

Titans, Bucs, Jets, Saints, Chiefs, Jaguars, Browns, Panthers, Bills, Chargers, Redskins, and Bears won last night. If you do not see your favorite team on this list, they either lost or did not plays. Ravens and Steelers play tonight on Monday Night Football.

I fell asleep during the Bears / EAGLES game. I woke up at 5:00am today to the horrible news that the EAGLES lost. I read online that the EAGLES were stopped at the goal line by the Bears defense. Tony Hunt nor Correll Buckhalter could run the ball in for 6 points. The EAGLES really need to get a big running back for these types of situations. EAGLES fans have been screaming about this for 10 years to Coach Andy Reid, but we should all know by now that he will never listen. As long as Brian Westbrook is hurt, the schedule does not look good for the EAGLES.

I want to give a shout out to Matt Bryant, kicker of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. His 3-month-old son passed away five days ago of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. Bryant went out and made three clutch field goals, especially considering the circumstances of his grief.

As much as I hate all of the fellatio love the media gives him, Brett Favre deserves a shout out. Broadway Brett threw a career-best 6 touchdowns! Yeah, the Packers are not missing Brett.

And a final shout out to Clifford Russell, wide receiver of the Denver Broncos. Russell suffered a sprained neck yesterday, but his injury was really scary. Russell was carted off the field in a stretcher with a neck brace, but was released from the hospital last night and left Kansas City with the Broncos team on their charter jet.

NFL Sunday - Week 3

Posted by Carlos C. on Sunday, September 21st, 2008 at 4:46 pm

I just got back from attending church and eating at the Olive Garden, so I have decided to discontinue my personal weekly NFL pick’em. The only team I care about winning are the Philadelphia EAGLES. The EAGLES are currently getting hosed at home by the referees! Plus, the EAGLES defense is having trouble tackling. What else is new?

The Giants and Redskins have won today, so the EAGLES have to win against the Steelers today in order to keep pace with those teams. The Cowboys play the Packers tonight. The Jets play the Chargers on Monday Night Football. For my friend Protest Warrior, I will pick the Jets to beat the Chargers on the road in San Diego.

The Vikings, Titans, Falcons, Bills, and Bucs have also won today. The Dolphins beat the Brady-less Patriots 38 to 13! It is always great to see the Patriots losing. Tom Brady has Gisele Bundchen to give him hand jobs hugs, so he is not missing much.

Let’s get some points, Philly!

E A G L E S - EAGLES!!!

UPDATE 1: Steelers 6- EAGLES 15

FINAL!

Brian Westbrook was hurt in the first quarter and did not come back to play. Preliminary reports say that Westbrook has an ankle injury. The EAGLES defense sacked the Steelers QB, Ben Rothlisberger, 8 times! Also, the defense was more confident in blitzing. I am too tired to get technical in my critique, but when the EAGLES find a way to have both the offense and defense show up at every game, the EAGLES will become an unstoppable force.

NFL Sunday Pick’Em - Week 1.

Posted by Carlos C. on Sunday, September 7th, 2008 at 9:52 am

Yes! The NFL’s opening day is here! And it is time to play NFL Pick’Em! Just pick the teams you want to win. It is that simple. Or, if you do not want to play, just stop by and post comments about your favorite football team, talk about your fantasy football team (I’m not playing fantasy football this year), talk trash (DALLAS SUCKS!), and have a good time following today’s games.

Since the Giants and Redskins played this past Thursday, everyone will have a free correct pick. Giants won the game 16 to 7.

Have your picks in before 1pm if you decide to play! Or, if you are late with your 1:00pm picks, go ahead and pick the other late games.

Thursday’s Game:

Redskins vs. Giants - Giants (Freebie pick for everyone.)

1pm Games:

Lions vs. Falcons - Lions

Bengals vs. Ravens - Bengals

Seahawks vs. Bills - Bills

Jets vs. Dolphins - Dolphins

Chiefs vs. Patriots - Patriots

Buccaneers vs. Saints - Saints

Rams vs. Eagles - E A G L E S EAGLES!!!

Texas vs. Steelers - Steelers

Jaguars vs. Titans - Jaguars

4:15pm Games:

Cowboys vs. Browns - Cowboys (DALLAS SUCKS!)

Panthers vs. Chargers - Chargers

Cardinals vs. 49ers - Cardinals

8:15pm Game:

Bears vs. Colts - Colts

Monday’s Games:

Vikings vs. Packers - Vikings

Broncos vs. Raiders - Broncos

ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL?!

2008 Philadelphia EAGLES cheerleaders! Gotta love them!

UPDATE 1:
The EAGLES dominate the Rams and win 38 to 3!

I have 6 correct picks and 4 incorrect picks so far in this week’s pick’em.

UPDATE 2: I have 8 correct picks and 6 incorrect picks.
